Greensboro’s Finest. 1618 is fabulous, always wonderful, great variety, great wine list. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.
Wow, tried to go tonight. Arrived at 5:45 on Sat with no reservation, restaurant was virtually empty, one table of 4 and 2 sitting at the bar. Hostess kindly said, I know we look empty, but we are going to fill up in 30-45 min. Once again wow. Clearly an empty restarant doesn’t need my buisness. And they will not get it.
Great Dinner. My husband and I went to 1618 Seafood Grille last night for the first time, however it will not be the last. The experience from the beginning to the end was exceptional. Dameon was our waiter and introduced himself to us first thing, from that point we all were able to address each other on a first name basis. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to make suggestions. Our meal was fantastic. After dinner we enjoyed a nightcap at the bar, and the staff there was just as attentive. Thanks to everyone for making our experience at 1618 great!!!!
Total Surprise. Stumbled onto this restaurant on Monday night with a friend. Had really never heard anything about it so had no expectation. The food was unreal. I have to say that this meal was in the top 5 best meals I have ever had –including those in New York, Paris, Barcelona, New Orleans, and the Caribbean. Every course was exciting, perfectly prepared and tasted exquisite. I am very difficult to please, and rarely find a restaurant worth mentioning to others. This place is the exception. Great Service as well. Definitely recommend this place.
