GREAT FOOD, GOOD SERVICE. The food AND the service was all good. Real people cooking real food. I just came from there 7/6/2014 and I wanted to smack my mama the food was so good. The prices are also fair. It reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. I loved it and will go back many, many more times.
The Best Soul Food In Town. Great service big mama soul food.
Never going to venture out there again!!. Heard the commercial about the restaurant and decided to go try it out for ourselves. From the beginning of the entrance was a disaster. People were standing about – didn’t know which way to go…upstairs or just stand at the door. Once, we were directed the flow of movement by the hostess. We take the elevator to go upstairs to be sitted, we get in line to get our food…the ball was definitely dropped because they ran out of plates. One of the servers actually had to leave the line to retrieve clean plates as well as missing items from the menu. It took us 15 minutes to get drinks which were flat as well as tart. We had to end up just drinking water – didn’t have a choice. The food was totally uncooked and how I know for a fact is that I had to suffer from the unlikes of it. We were absolutely disappointed and very unsatisfied – trust me…we will NEVER go back!! Although, they have a good concept but they’re in desperate need of restaurant make-over as well as some professionalism. It is hard to support our black businesses when they represent themselves in a hood fashion. This really needs to be conducted in a better manner from the front to the back.
