Not worth the wait! Worst I have ever eaten! Ordered filet and was served sirloin.
Worst Service of all the times we visted here!!!. My partner and I have been here numerous times and have never had a problem. This time the experience was so off that we will not be back. My father-in-law, sister-in-law, partner and myself went tonight expecting to have a great time and we were pissed to the max with 3 strikes and you’re out. First strike, my father-in-law had ordered an extra side of shrimp and he was cheated out of his shrimp. We all of been to Arigatos and know how they serve their food and this clearly wasn’t a extra side of shrimp. He brought to this to the managers attention and the manager and he told the manager that had he known that the portion would have been so small that he wouldn’t have ordered it, the manger told him that it was his choice and he walked off. My father-in-law kept his cool and let it slide. Second strike, the cook could cook worth a damn most of the food was sticking to the grill and everyone sitting at the table was basically cheated out of their portions. Out of everything you get more rice then anything but not in this case. Most of the rice had burned and stuck to the grill-when he scraped the grilled it was a plate full of rice, we were all pissed. Third strike, my partner and I had ordered scallops so the cook was cooking and the scallops was sticking to the grill and falling apart and some even fell on the floor. He even had the nerve to set on the dish and serve it like we still wanted it. My partner’s dad asked did we want to accept that I said no he called the manger back over and I told him that we need another order of scallops they had burned stuck to the grill and some even fell to the ground. He act as if he didn’t want to accept my partner’s scallops to replace and all hell broke loose. My father-in-law lost his cool and had to lay in the manager and give him the business and let him know that we were not trying to get over but he needs to make it right and get on his game of working with customers. The manager had gotten smart and asked us what our problem was and we were like can’t you see that the cook is not doing a good job and what happened to customer being happy. He did replace the order but the point that we had to get out of character to get the point across and were aren’t like that. This experience we will not be back to this location and will have to go to the Winston Salem, NC location where they are cleaner and friendlier. Reading the other post I see that we aren’t the only ones that has had problems with the manager and his slick mouth and the way he treats customers spending their hard earned money.
Absolutely HORRIBLE service!!! I could not believe how sub par the management and service was at my last visit here!!! It took forever to get soup and salad. Over 30 minutes to get a beer??? Really??? Then the girls that were seated with us (they were there for a birthday dinner), were treated with the most unbelievable display of poor management that I have ever seen! One of them ordered extra shrimp appetizer and the server added extra shrimp on the entree as well. The customer brought to his attention and he argued with her about it. When she asked to speak to the manager, instead of being professional and addressing her concerns, he came over with a plate and demanded her to remove the portion from her plate mid meal??? I have never in my life seen such a rude display by a manager in my life!!! He should not be in the customer service business whatsoever if he thinks his actions are acceptable. Wish I knew how to reach the owners. I’m sure that they would like to know how their customers are being treated by this jack leg of a manager!!! Food was very good, but, the horrible service will have me searching for a new Japanese restaraunt in the area!!!
Good dinner. I ame in with friends and the food was very good. the service was excellent. would recommend to all my friends.
Great Food Great Price Great Atmosphere. I was very pleased!!! I was taken for my birthday and loved the service, food and chef. He wore a spongebob hat, which i thought was so cute. The food was superb and cooked right in front of you. I will def go back. the Salmon is to die for!!
Must try if you never have!. If you haven’t ever had Arigato in Greensboro, you are missing out! This is the best Japanese food around. It will leave you thinking about when you are going to go back! We always enjoy going. They staff and cooks are wonderful! If you love the white sauce at Japanese restaurants…you will be in heaven! You must try Arigato if you have never been! You won’t be disappointed!
Excellent value. Could you eat this much food and not be satisfied?: a cup of soup(excellent), a salad with house dressing(best ever), appetizer shrimp(dip in white sauce), zuchinni and onions(to die for)…this is before the entree that you order!! i get the salmon dinner most of time and its 3 pieces of awesome teriaki glazed fish and a huge portion of fried rice. and you get all of this for less than $17!!! the cooks have awesome personalities and the service is always good. give it a try!!!
