Bad wings, ghetto locations. We visited the Battleground and the High Point Rd. locations one night trying to unload a Groupon coupon we bought. After leaving the first location because the wife was scared (I’m not making this up), we settled in for dinner at the slightly less dangerous location on High Point.The wings were horrible and wildly over priced for the atmosphere and quality.I’ve been to three different wing places in Greensboro, and this place was by far the worst.
I’ve called this location for wings several times over the past year. I always check their website and prepare my order. EVERY time I’ve done this, they tell me their website is not updated, the prices have gone up and/or they don’t offer that special any longer, or they don’t offer that in a take out menu, only dining in. How frustrating is that! Don’t have a website if you cant update it or have it be MOSTLY accurate information. I had to ask for a total on the phone and was blown away at how much more he quoted us than what they adverise. I just cancelled the order and went to Hooters. We once sucked it up and went in for lunch. The wings were typical but nothing outstanding for the price. The location is small. The waitress was nice but could’ve been much better since the place was almost empty. Overall, the food was ok, but overpriced. Too many screw ups for us to go back. Service counts – especially when the food doesn’t exactly have customers lined up out the door. Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings are much better options for wings and was less expensive for us!
