This restaurant has terrible service. The staff is racist and is incredibly rude. Please do not go there. The waitress with short curly brown hair and medium build wouldn’t let my boyfriend’s mother even finish the words out of her mouth before she cut her off and said they didn’t have what she was asking. She snatches the menus, slams drinks down as well. After she leaves our table, she sits down with a Caucasians couple giving them her time and helping them while making fun of our table. I will not support racial intolerance, as I am multiracial, my boyfriend is biracial.

Just Not Worth The Price, And The Service Is Bad. No Mas. Tried one last time, and it will be the last time, to see if this restaurant could produce a decent fried seafood meal, with reasonably efficient service thrown in.They answer was not only no, it was heck no.For $30 plus, we received undercooked Popcorn Shrimp, undercooked Oysters, unseasoned, undercooked FFs that were so white and limp they looked like some form of pasta. The baked bean side I ordered may have been undercooked, I’ll never know – it never made it to the table. And finally, we had to chase down the distracted waitress to get the ticket so we could buy our way out of this place. We tried here 5 times, and only the very first was a reasonable meal. All the others were either indifferent or simply bad dining experiences. At these prices, one should expect better, actually much better. No Mas, indeed!02 Jan, 2012Pretty Good Fried Saefood, But Pricey. This place has been around forever, it seems (30 years actually), and has built up a loyal base of customers. Obviously, it is primarirly a seafood joint, but also serves a small number of steak dishes, salads, sandwiches & subs, and Chef’s Specialty Platters that include: Shrimp Creole, Beef Tips, Greek Chicken, & Souvlaki. There are Pasta Plates (Spaghetti, Lasagna, etc) and there are a number of Children’s Plates – something for everyone. Some of these items are nice, but the seafood is the thing to get here (Remember Restaurant rule #1 – It is usually best not to order a steak at a seafood place) They are known for their Popcorn Shrimp, and rightly so – it is consistently very good. The Flounder here is also excellent. The traditional sides for seafrood of slaw, FF, and Hush Puppies are nice, as well. They are a little pricey here on the standard menu items – 3 item combo plates range from $17.95 to $19.95, and their Seafood Platter is also $19.95. Their single item platters begin at $9.75, rising to $14,95 . They also do something I’ve never encountered before – they charge 15 cents for To Go Boxes. They do have daily specials with some better pricing, but all in all, this is not the cheapest place to eat fried seafood in the area (better in Kernersville, Burlington, Eden, and Walkertown), especially when taking into account portion size, but it is probably the best place for fried seafood in Greensboro.Service is always friendly and efficient.
