  TakeOu Only At This Location. Yes, I know it is a fast food chain, but I am willing to admit that every once in a while, I dawn a disguise (nothing controversial or cross gender), and visit such places – is that so wrong?And generally, I find the fried chicken at Church’s very tasty, and it is consistently prepared well (sandwiches, tenders, etc not so much so). I also find that the various chicken parts served here seem more closely to resemble the parts on an actual chicken. For example, the fried wings at Bojangles have a knob of what I hope is white meat that extends from the small drumette end – not sure what that’s all about. And don’t even ask me about the wings at Popeye’s.And, of all the fried chicken chains, Church’s is the only one that has sides that appear to have originated from actual food stuffs – especially the fries, okra, and poppers. Their slaw and mashed potatoes suck like every other chain. I don’t care for their biscuits – if I wanted honey-butter glaze on my biscuits, I would like to be that one that puts it there.Prices are reasonable for a chain, service here is generally good, but can be slow. This is a very small Church’s location, takeout only, with no drive thru, which I don’t particularly care for – easier to maintain your disguise in an automobile. The lack of a drive thru not withstanding, this is the most consistent Church’s in Greensboro, followed by Bessemer Avenue, and Randleman Road is a haven of poor service, and inconsistent preparation.
