I guess it’s better than soft-serve from a Chinese buffet. Barely.. It’s not as if you can screw up ice cream, so the stuff from Cold Stone is good. But it’s not great. I’d take Baskin Robbins, Carvel, Yum Yum, Mayberry or even Mayfield or Breyer’s from the store before I’d pick Cold Stone. There’s just nothing special about it. At all.Oh, and the whole stone mixing gimmick? They’re just doing what I do to my ice cream when I get it anyway. I don’t see the appeal.
