If you are contemplating on coming here, don’t hesitate, just go on in. I had jerk chicken and jerk oxtail in which I shared with my girlfriend which came with rice and cabbage on both the plates. Everything on that plate was phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back to try some of the other dishes they offer here. Service was great and the place was nice and clean. Affordable prices and just a wonderful eating experience.

Not Worth It Mon. When you have different food experiences available in Greensboro, you have to try them – there aren’t that many and few turn out to be gems, especially among the ethnic restaurants. My previous attempt to order from this place ended in failure due to poor response at the ordering point- and that is being kind. I bypassed the rudeness, and incredible lack of focus at this restaurant – used Takeout Triad LLC for delivery – and this worked out well, at least for the delivery aspect – the food, not so much. The Pepper Shrimp appetizer ($4) was decent, but there was nothing spicy about the Jamaican sauce in which it was sauted (their spelling). The Codfish Fritter ($3.50) was simply awful, heavy and greasy – too much fritter, too little codfish, and no FRESH codfish taste, period. The Sun Splash Salad ($7) was very, very good – nice amount of orange, raisins were MIA, but the orange dressing was excellent – but for $7 this is beyond overpriced. The Fried Plantains ($2.25) were good, but then again, they should have been – simple dish, simple execution. The Rice & Peas should be renamed Rice & Pea – good overall flavor, but a very thin dish. The Boston Jerk Chicken ($9) was just ok – I ask for it HOT, and it was NOT – and not at all sure what Boston has to do with this dish. The Brown Fish Stew ($12.50) was sweet and mushy, and the vegetables were a few. lonely pepper strips. This dish is even more overpriced than the $7 salad. The Irie Mon Curried Goat ($9.50) was very, very tasty, and probably was the most reasonably priced item on our order, given portion and quality. The flavor was nice, but it definitely needed more heat. This goat in this dish is on the bone (as it should be for the best flavor), but there are shards of small bone bits in it (see the photos), and this is not a good idea.Overall, there was very little to recommend the food here. The tastes are muted, the freshness (the cod in the Calaloo) is a mixed bag, the portions are nothing remarkable, and the pricing is way too high. I find nothing that would cause me too spend another penny here.

This is the best place I have eaten in this area. The prices are great and the food is even better. If you are looking for something different, come here with a group of friends, order a little of everything and share. No one will walk away hungry.

The Food is NOT Authentic! HORRIBLE!. I ordered from this restaurant online and I did not like it. I ordered jerk chicken wings, rockaway oxtail, and some pepper soup. It was awful. I cannot believe that all of these people believe that their food is good. It is not authentic Jamaican food. The jerck chicken was bland and did not taste like jerk chicken that I have had in the past. The oxtail was not good and left an aftertaste in my mouth, and the cabbage tasted bad. It was greasy, oily and had an artificial taste. The people that I know that make this food would not consider any of this authentic. I was extremely disappointed. I will NOT be ordering from here again.

I lived in Jamaica for a year, and this made me so homesick. Excellent curry goat and oxtail (although the oxtail was a bit sweet). Bammi and festival were great and they had the best red pea soup I’ve ever had. Rice and peas. Yum. Totally going back for the brown stew fish. Oh…and get the conch fritters. You won’t be sorry.

I had the jerk goat dish and was blown away by the taste. They also have many drinks you can’t find anywhere else. Great place for lunch.
