Yum. Their doughnuts are very good. I like the choices offered, and the fresh yeasty flavor. I selected a blue berry, and a Cruller with Chocolate Frosting. I have never eaten a Cruller before. I enjoyed the light almost spongy texture inside the sweet, flaky outer crust. The frosting was a little too sweet, but I still ate the whole thing and enjoyed it. I would like to try maple and plain next time. The blue berry was a cake doughnut, that was moist with a light glaze. I really enjoyed their pastries and look forwarded to visiting again next time we come to Greensboro.

Apple Fritter King! Excellent!. No body makes an apple fritter like these folks! I want to live here and eat until I blow up. Fabulous! I’m going to try that maple bacon item that someone mentioned below. Come hungry and order more than you need because you are going to eat half of what you order before you get home!
Amazing!. First off, this is the only place in town that understands how to make a decent cake donut. Secondly, they have a double-size donut thats the yeast-style base (think Krispy Kreme without the glaze) covered in maple frosting and big, real chunks of chewy bacon. Its bacon. On a donut. A maple frosted donut. Worth. Every. Calorie. Prices are about on par, try their old fashioned, its hands down one of the most perfect cake donuts I’ve had south of Maryland.
Great Donuts. Donut World is great! Makes KRISPYKREME look bad. Flavor, service, value. We prefer Donut World over any other. Great JOB!
