Best Mexican in Greensboro, No Contest. El Camino Real Mexican Grill is the best Mexican restaurant in Greensboro, easily. While the dining room is very small, the food is exceptionally good and very affordable. The staff is friendly, and they made the best presidente margarita I have ever tasted. The only downsides are that it is tough to find a parking spot and the wait can be a bit long. Its only local competition is La Botana in Winston – I’m not sure which I prefer, but you can’t go wrong with either choice if you are looking for the Triad’s best Mexican food.
We really enjoyed our meal. The Burrito Fritos was knock out. We will hit this place up whenever we are in town.
Love it!. Great service, great tacos and margaritas. I love the chili salt around the mango margarita. The El Pastor taco is the best. The servers are always nice, and the food is freshly prepared.
The service was excellent, and the food was very good! The horchata was delicious! They have $1 tacos every Tuesday and Thursday, and you definitely can’t beat that. It is small, but doesn’t feel terribly crowded, even when packed out.
Cheap!. Best dollar tacos on thursdays!!
Best Mexican food in Greensboro
Best Mexican Tacos Ever. The title says it all. El Camino Real serves the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. They are on soft corn tortillas with a slice of avocado and radish. The carnitas (pork) are my favorites… Absolutely delicious with the tomatillo sauce. I won’t go to another Mexican restaurant for fear of being disappointed now that I frequent El Camino Real. Did I mention the ladies that provide excellent table service and just what a deal these tacos are? Go for the tacos, you won’t be disappointed.
