I’ve been wanting to go to Emma Key’s for a while, but the parking situation always made me think twice. Well, we finally went and I can say it is worth it. One of the best burgers I have ever had (I had the lone Star). Super juicy and flavorful. The onion rings were also excellent. There is not much in the way of indoor seating, but outdoor tables were plentiful. Lots of good craft beers too. I would recommend coming on a week night to avoid the crowds. 4.5 stars (had to take off .5 star for no on site parking)
Wait for it….wait…still waiting…. 35 mins and still no food. The couple in front of myself and husband received theirs, ate and left! 45 mins and 2 hey where’s the beef’s and still nothing. Each time we asked eat time we are told coming up. Almost an hour and still nothing so requested our money back and left! Smelt good but that’s the best I can say about this highly unorganized place.
We absolutely LOVE this place!. Best burger in Greensboro— hands down! From the first time trying it, both my fiance and I will go out of our way to get it when we can if we have choice of hamburger. They have great prices, a variety of toppings [even though both of us are rather boring when it comes to toppings for our own burgers], and the staff are always so nice. We normally bring our own drinks as we are not beer drinkers and not big fans of the soda selection but other than that, it is a WAY WAY thumbs up! :] And we also love that you can bring your dogs to sit with you to eat outside, which we did! He liked it and agrees that your burgers and fries is yummy!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Love the food, the atmosphere, the staff and the outdoor seating area. Is located about 45 minutes from my home…am more than happy to drive here for a good burger…and those sweet potato fries and sauce!
First time trying this place after being a huge fan of Hops Burger Bar. You can’t really compare the two because they’re a completely different experience. This has the great vibe of an old diner with cooks grilling burgers right in front of you and a friendly, helpful staff. My burger was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium as I requested. The fries are fantastic. They have a great craft beer selection – probably about 40 different bottles. Prices were great. Definitely a nice spot to sit outside and grab a quick bite.
Solid Customer Service. The first time I came here, my burger still had wax paper in the cheese. When I told the cashier, she gave me a full refund, gave me a coupon for a free burger and had the cook make me a new one for free. Even though I’ve had experiences to warrant some hesitation to return, I still do because they more than make up for their faults.
Crazy Delicious!. Just enjoyed one of the best burgers around! If you are in the Greesboro area don’t miss Emma Keys. Food was decadent and the people delightful. Quaint neighborhood setting and 50’s era building, the BEST!
