  If I had noticed the 93 sanitation rating first, I may have turned around. Front door window was broken and the entrance windows filthy. I had the lunch special with rock hard hush puppies and cold apple cobbler. All this served in togo cartons. Table cloths were torn. I’ve been in other mom n pops, in old buildings that were better maintained. Thankfully I was just passing through.

  New Owners, Still Some Good Food. This little place changed hands in January, so I dropped by to see what the food was like now. Tried a couple of all-the-way Chili Dogs (2 for $3), and a Chopped BBQ Sandwich (something under $4) with slaw.The chili dogs were pretty good, with a nice, meaty chili. While they’re not the value they were previously at 99 cents, this is still a solid chili dog value. No doubt I’ll order these again.The Chopped BBQ was not bad at all, but the slaw is waaaaay to sweet (more a Cole Slaw than a BBQ Slaw) – it’s all you taste. I’ll probably try it again, sans the slaw.They have daily plate specials ( ranging from BBQ Pork, Hamburger Steak, Country Style Steak, Pork Chops, and Fried Chicken on Fridays). Not sure they offer Beef Tips & Rice anymore, that was a special dish. We’ll check out some more of the menu on future visits.Nice folks, here – live in the Graham area.02 Aug, 2014Lunch Specials Are Nice. Tried a lunch special here recently, and was more than pleasantly surprised. The Beef Tips with Gravy on rice was simply excellent. The beef was fork tender, loaded with flavor, and the gravy was just as good. Even the green beans (canned) were very well seasoned, maybe with bacon grease. Their lunch combos come with a drink and a dessert for around $7.50 – good value there.The 99 cent chili dog is a true value, and has some decent flavor in the chili. The Pork Barbecue here is decent, a little on the dry side, but does pack some heat.I’ll be back – a 99 cent Chili Dog – are you kidding me!27 Jun, 2011Not A Bad Little Place. This little place does serve pork BBQ, but I’m not sure who makes it, where it is made, or who makes it. The chopped pork on a sandwich, with slaw and some sauce will do, but you will not see skyrockets. Forget the fries, their ridged, tough on the outside & mushy inside, and bland – though they are rarely burnt.What this place does very well is breakfast at very reasonable prices, and daily lunch specials that are also ample and priced well. The hot dog here is good, the burger is nice, and large, and the tenderloin sandwich is excellent.The service here is also very, very good.

  Great place. My family was traveling home to Charlotte from a long weekend in the Va mountains looking for a BBQ place in Greensboro. We literally stumbled into Frosty’s after searching the web to order some take out. Walked in to order and the staff or possibly owners were so friendly we decided to sit down. We ordered BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs and burgers and all were excellent. Our boys got some cobbler to go and the waitress also gave us free to go drinks. All was good and we have now saved Frosty’s in our GPS for future stops!

  Service cannot be beat. I have only been at lunch, but always enjoy the food. Good prices.
