Jerusalem Market is a hidden gem. First, everything from the deli is incredible and authentic. They make the best hummus I have ever had. Walk around the market and find a delightful selection of food items from across the Middle East (and more). Talk to the owners and they’ll impart of wealth of knowledge on the food products they stock and serve. If you love to cook, or eat middle eastern food, you have to try Jerusalem Market.
Excellent Sandwiches, And More. This great little Middle Eastern specialty grocery and deli has been in this spot for over 20 years, offering imported items, like olives, olive oil, cheeses, and spices. But it is the other things they offer that sets this place apart – in house made, fresh food items and excellent sandwiches.Hummus, falafel, dolmathes (vegeterian), home made pies (spinach, cheese, and ground beef ), and a nice selection of sandwiches – The Turk is super, with spicy sausage; the Falafel is nice, and well sized. Everything is nice, with fresh, clean tastes.Good service, but things can slow down when they’re busy, this is a small, family run place. No inside seating, not much outside. Prices are reasonable, though the sandwiches run $6 – $8; pies are about $3; hummus, falafel, etc are about $9 per pound, with the dolmathes at $12.
