Melt is amazing – hands down the best paninis and salads I’ve ever had. The apps are also super tasty – service is fast and friendly. Great wine and beer menu. Love the atmosphere but also easy to get food to go. Never had anything but fantastic food and highly recommend for lunch and low key date night! You can tell they put thought into their food.
Well I’m am a die sandwhich man so when I was invited to melts I had to try it. This is a sandwich shop with a modern twist that screams hipster. I had a Cuban Ruben which was loaded with sweet piled pork , succulent ham, pickles and a plethora of other taste things. There artisan sandwiches come with a side and there individually crafted dipping sauces , mine being a mayo aoli while my company’s being a dill pesto. In conclusion I would recommend this to any and everyone , enjoy this tastes goodness.
Sometimes You Can Try So Hard to Be Creative & Exotic That You Forget To Deliver Quality or Value. There are going to be some folks who like the food served here, really like the food here because it is different from the ordinary, creative & a little exotic even, but if different, creative, & exotic don’t taste good, and are considerably overpriced, then it will not be for everybody, and especially not for me.We tried three items here at lunch, along with a couple of sides, and honestly would not order any of the items again. The Butternut Squash Salad (incredibly overpriced at $13) has so little squash (5 small pieces) and dried fig (1 small fig, cut in half) in it as to be laughable, but there is nothing funny about this salad, at this price. The Granny ($12) followed in the same footsteps – relatively little filling (2 very, very thin slices of Granny Smith apple, tiny amount of bacon & onion jam, same with the spinach. Even what was there did not produce great taste combination. The Burger ($11) was very ordinary, and on the small side. The Duck Fries had a decent flavor, but were wrapped in tinfoil for take out, ensuring that they would quickly be limp and soggy. The Orzo Salad was just ok, the predominant flavors being from the large amount of dill & the strong red onion. The 3 items, with a tip included was over $40, pricey for lunch by almost any standard, but especially so in this case because of the lack of quality and quantity. As I mentioned, there is not a one of the 5 different items we tried that we’d order again.
