Awesome restaurant! Great food and pretty descent service most times.
Great Food. I have never had a bad meal here. Love the fried chicken, biscuits with the apple butter and the summer salad with the strawberries and feta cheese. The wait staff is wonderful and very friendly. I recommend this place to all my friends when they ask where there is a good place to eat.
Confused. First of all I really enjoy this place. What I’m confused about is how this restaurant only has a 70 some percent while all the Carolina’s Diners have over 90? The Carolina’s Diner restaurants are the same exact thing as a waffle house, maybe worse, and the Moose Cafe is delicious! What’s with people!?!18 Apr, 2014Yum. I’ve been to the Moose Cafe once and it blew me away. The huge pancakes,the cheesy potato casserole,the eggs,the chicken, everything. I’m really surprised to see that a decent amount of people don’t enjoy it. I guess if you can’t handle grease in your food then you can’t eat at places like this. The food here is nothing like a Cracker Barrel or a Waffle house or anything like that. It’s extremely rich comfort food.
Mediocre. The portion sizes are good but the food is very bland. Biscuits were heavy and yeasty but okay. .. I usually like any biscuit. Best thing about the meal was the chicken and dumplings and sweet tea. Fish no taste. Shrimp tasted like grease. Fried chicken very crispy but bland. Buttermilk chicken was okay but still it and the gravy didn’t have much taste. We left full but unsatisfied.
DOUBLE THUMBS DOWN!!. Horrible service, and the food is even worse. Laiden with salt and butter, this restaurant serves NOTHING fresh from the farmers market they sit in!! It is a Cracker Barrel take off that has some type of monopoly on the Farmers Market and survive’s by being the only restaurant there. I’ve eaten here 3 times and had different items each visit. I was so thirsty for hours after…why? Salt in all the processed food they serve. This place gets a double thumbs down. It’s a waste of time and money.
Cat. Don’t know what chip you have on your shoulder, my wife and I have been there many times on weekdays and Saturday and never heard any yelling fron the kitchen at anyone, don’t get on here just to rip a place because they didn’t bow down to you or something, not fair at all..
Bland and Tasteless. The food may be fresh but it’s got very little taste. Our Pork was tough and bland, the chicken was bland. Someone from this place must have the inside track on this website since my first two reviews were deleted.
