Very Nice Sandwich Choices. We finally had a chance to eat at the second location of this very good Greek grill, and they don’t miss a beat here – just as good as the one on West Market Street, though the service doesn’t seem as crisp and timely. Neither place is a complete breeze to get into car wise, but this one is somewhat better if you don’t try to crossover the oncoming traffic as you leave. We ordered the Gyro Wrap ($5.35), the Club ($6.95 with FFs), and the Double Cheeseburger ($5.25 with FFs), 3 of our favorites at the West Market Street restaurant, and none disappointed. The Cheeseburger was excellent, loaded with flavor, nice amount of cheese, and a fresh bun. The burger is a great value at this price, with a side of FFs.The Club was no different, simply one of our favorites – in fact, I’m not sure there is a better one in the city, especially at this price with a nice side of fries. The Gyro was super, as well. I’ve really come to like the way they put their sandwich together, though it took me a little while. The meat is cooked as it should be, well seasoned, and is chopped into nice chunks rather than thinly sliced – this keeps the meat tender and moist, I think. But it is the Tzaziki sauce that sets this gyro – great tasting, made in house sauce, with a touch of sourness from the added sour cream. We like these sandwiches, as well as a number of other items here, and in general the pricing is reasonable. They do serve beer and a few Greek wines, but this is not a linger over dinner kind of place, rather a bright, clean place for a quick lunch or dinner.
Good food and service. Be sure to ask about their special gyro machine.
Wonderful Vegetarian Platter!. A great place for freshly prepared Greek food. I always get the Vegetarian Plate. It is a wonderful mix of Falafel, Dolmades, Spanokopita, Hummus, pita bread, and greek salad. The portions are good, and the food is delicious. The prices are reasonable for the quality food that you receive. As for other’s comments on this not being authentic, we have met the owners before, and they are indeed Greek. In fact, the Greek dressing that they give you for your salad is homemade, and a family recipe. I have actually bought a container of it to take home and use. Granted, I have never been to Greece, but here in Greensboro, this is hands down, the best Greek food that I have eaten.
Chicken Suvlaki Plate. Chicken cooked to perfection, crisp salad, the dressing is tasty but pink, don’t know whats in it to make it that color. Clean place, friendly folks, good spot. Definitely coming back.
Tasty Greek. Tried Mythos for the first time tonight. Delicious Gyro sandwich. Tatziki is delicious. Pita bread was warm and delicious. Salad was super fresh and dressing is terrific. Chicken Greek salad had perfectly cooked fresh chicken. Only two minor points- pepperoncini was flavorless and hummus wasnt creamy and a little watery. Overall great experience.
Went there for lunch today, place was packed, but super clean, food was exceptional best Greek food I ever had, the staff was wonderful and super friendly. Food arrived pretty quickly for how busy they were, I have been passing by this restaurant on battleground sinced they open just have never had a chance to stop in to grab a bite. And I will definitely will be back in the future
Lots of food for not a big price. Food is so good! Chicken souvlaki was awesome! Can’t wait to try the spanikopita!
