Lacking. I don’t want to be mean about Rearn Thai as they don’t quite deserve that, but straight away I should say that Rearn Thai falls short of nearby Pho Hien Vuong. I tried a few dishes at Rearn and I was not impressed particularly by any. A sweet potato curry I got had all of two or three pieces of sweet potato in it; spring rolls were heavy with oil and filled largely with cabbage; the mixed vegetables I had added to my dishes were sparse and felt cheap (inflated with things like cabbage and celery, although there were a few other veggies). Besides these frustrations, the food was quite fine, the servings were of an appropriate size, and the waitstaff, although spotty, was not, in my experience, unfriendly. I hope Rearn Thai will step up their game, but as for now, I’ve got a better alternative just a few blocks away.
Delicious Thai Restaurant. BEST THAI FOOD EVER, my family and I come here at least once a week! I come here every time I come home from college. BEST shrimp dumplings and everything else on the menu is delicious! Fresh meat and veggies! If you love Thai food you’ll love theirs!
Great Food Experience. We have eaten here many times, and love their Basil Ground Chicken dish! The shrimp dumplings are also delicious, as well as the Thom Kha soup. We love to use the spice tray to add a little heat. The food is always hot, delicious, and you never leave hungry. The place has a nice, calm, and welcoming atmosphere with beautiful decorations, and plants. We love it!

Always Good. Nice food here, consistently prepared, and served in a bright, nicely decorated environment – lots of windows make it airy feeling. The service is always good, although take out can be a little slow – if they say 20 minutes, count on at least 30 – the older gentleman checks everything before it goes, not a bad thing.We’ve been going to Rearn Thai since they were in the old location, across the street on West Market, and we’ve always enjoyed our meals here. They stumbled a few times on the level of heat, but over the last year or so, they’ve delivered what we’ve ask for. You can ask for mild, medium, hot or Thai hot.My wife loves the Basil Fried Rice with Ground Chicken, medium hot – that is plenty for her ( I think it is better with beef, but we only have the one house, so I keep my own counsel). I would not go above hot, that is as high as I’ve been able to go, and actually finish the dish.The curry dishes here are popular, I’m just not a big fan of Thai curries – coconut should be on a cake or in a candy bar, and you should pick a color and stay with it. The Pud Thai is popular here as well, but I’m not a big fan of that either – I know, national dish, and all – but the national dish of Scotland is haggis, so that kind of puts things in perspective as to the desirability of national dishes, or even the discussion of them in polite society.These folks serve some nice food here, you just need to find what it is you like. Most of the apps are nice(especially the Tempura, Shrimp Roll, & Thai Chicken Wings), there are two fish entrees that rock(Smiling Fish Filet & Fish Filet with Basil Leaves),the Papaya Salad is very good, the Crying Tiger entree, and Thai beer is good
Mix veggie plate #25 really good and the broth is unbelievable….wait staff were very helpful
