Exceeded all expectations! Food, staff and atmosphere were perfect!. Let me start by saying that I have not been a huge fan of Ruby Tuesday’s in the past. I have eaten at this chain, maybe three times in the past 20 years. It’s not that I have had bad experiences, it’s just that I never felt overwhelmed by greatness there. That has changed in just one experience. I almost didn’t go there because of the poor online reviews, but dinner time was passing me by and I was very limited in choices within walking distance to my hotel. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The staff was friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond what would be expected. Beth was my server and she couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. My food was brought to my table much faster than I expected, and everything from the salad, to biscuits, to my entree was perfect. It honestly could not have been better. Then, the icing on the cake…..I realized I had left my wallet in the hotel room and had no cash, no credit cards, not even my ID. Drew, the manager sat down at my table and helped me come up with a workable solution that was agreeable to both of us. He could not have been more understanding and willing to help me resolve the issue. I am so glad that I didn’t let the negative reviews sway me to stay away. Next time I’m in town, I will definitely visit again! Thank you all for your considerate southern hospitality and genuine concern for your customers. 🙂
Expected mediocre food, but getting overcharged was the icing on the cake. So…. outside is this HUGE sign that says HAPPY HOUR! and advertises $5 appies. Every sign in the place says it’s happy hour. I order three appetizers and a Martini. Food bill comes and I’m instead of $15 it’s 25… wtf… I ask and I am informed that Happy Hour ended three minutes before my order went in even though I had been sitting for ten minutes before I was even acknowledged by the staff. THere are NO hours for HH posted anywhere. I just smiled and laughed at the old bait n switch. Manager rudely informed me that it wasn’t his or corporate policy to have his wait staff inform customers that they are being overcharged. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I am done with RT forever.
