Good, Quick Mediterranean. Mediterranean food – along with some Americanized sandwhich and app choices. The Hummus ($3.19, comes with pita) is nicely flavored, if a bit on the oily side, and the pita is good, if not exceptional.The Beef/Lamb Gyro on a pita ($5.00) is very nice, coming with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber sauce. The meat is chunked, not thinly sliced like most gyros you order. This is a very good version, and the meat is very tasty, the cucumber sauce is a little on the bland side, a little added ground cumin and red pepper helped greatly.The Kofta Kabob has great flavor, though it is not the usual cigar shaped kabob – rather it comes in the form of patties (yeap, like hamburger pattie). It came with pita and a few grilled onions and green pepper pieces – very few, and rather overcooked. Still with some of the cucumber sauce, this was a nice flavor combo. We ordered a side of rice, but would not re-order, just too bland. We ordered a single Chicken skewer, and this was wellcooked and tender, but not as tasty as others we’ve tried – still, not bad.Will order from here again, trying some other items on the menu. They deliver in our area, which is a big plus. Nice, friendly folks.
Best Mediterranean food in town yummy !!!
Good food!. My wife and I love this place. Our favorite is the Chicken Shawarma made spicy. We also like the owner of this restaurant who is always there with a smile. The dishes are very reasonably priced.
Awesome falafel and humus!. I don’t normally get to that far down West Market but I had to go to the DMV that day and I’m glad I did! I honestly just popped in to use the restroom and grab a quick bite. I ordered the vegetarian plate with some falafel, humus, pita and a Greek salad. WOW! I was blown away by how good the falafel and humus both were, the salad is usually the most boring part of the plate but not here. It had a great dressing, I think it was a yogurt/oil mix, very tasty, the feta cheese was very nom! I commented on how good the food was and the owner, Hassan, came over and talked to me about the food, falafel and humus all made in house btw, and I mentioned one of my favorite Mediterranean spots is Zaytoon’s in downtown Greensboro. He proceeded to tell me about his two chefs coming from Zaytoon’s! He definitely has the right men in the kitchen! All in all the food was great and everyone was really friendly, I will definitely be stopping here again!
Diamond in the rough!!!. This place is a diamond in the rough. Such wonderful service. Such great people! Sarah’s husband (didn’t catch his name) is so so kind, and helpful! Wonderful food!! They deliver in a timely manner … (60+) people catering! Perfect every time! Juicy chicken and beef kabobs! And rice? … The most flavorful, most delicious I’ve ever tasted! This restaurant provides quick service when dining in, but brings your food to your table, on real plates, with real silverware , and cleans up behind you! (Unlike some of their competitors) … Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and will keep going back! They also have punch cards, spend just $8 each time you go, for 9 times in a row, and get $8 off your 10th! They’ve made a repeat customer out of me! GO,SEE FOR YOURSELF!
Sarah’s Kabob Shop has great food made fresh before your eyes. The portions are large and the menu is a good deal. It’s clean, fast, friendly, and delicious. Best steak and cheese in town.
Great Food!. Always a nice experience at Sarah’s Kabob Shop. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean. Great location too, just a hop skip and jump from I-40. Enjoy!
