Yum me. Absolutely delicious food. Cheese fries are my fav. Hot dogs are so filling & very good. Go there at least twice a month fit my cheese fries. Seriously try the cheese fries for the fry connoisseur it’s a must. The only sucky part is they don’t have onions in sauce but good it’s delish & worth the money but it’s very inexpensive.

Stick With The Hot Dog Here. This little walk-up, drive thru place, just down from the A & T campus is owned by Skip Alston, of local political fame, and its worn side proudly claims that over 4 million hot dogs have been sold here. There is no inside seating, but there are some pinic table setups outside. They run some weekly specials, include a hot dog on Mondays for $1.00, and they offer some seafood items, as well as dogs, sausages, burgers, and fries. The hot dog, goes normally for $1.65, is a pretty solid, if not spectacular, version of the classic Southern chili dog. The wiener is pretty nice, and the bun soft and gooy, and the chili, while meaty, is a little thin on flavor – but not a bad dog. Slaw is pretty good, with just a touch of sweetness. The Smoked Sausage, not huge and a little pricey at $2.65, has a nice smokey flavor, but was considerably overcooked for my taste, and the onions and green peppers had suffered the same fate. Fries have little flavor, and are under-salted – I’d pass. Pretty good place to pickup a hot dog, especially on Mondays – I’d probably pass on the rest of the menu.
