Go With The Tasting Menu. We went back to this outstanding restaurant In May because they were showing soft shell crab as part of their menu, and we’ve experienced what they do with this divine creature before, and were not about to miss the chance to do so again. And we were just as pleased this time.We went with the Tasting Menu and requested that a fried soft shell crab dish be a part of it, and of course it was, and it was awesome – fried perfect, and accompanied by fried leaks and a wonderful sauce. Other plates include , trout with pearl onions and asparagus, veal with green beans, pork loin with sweet potatoes, and an outstanding conch beignet dish.We also had a super spanish wine, Pasanau Ceps Nous 2008. This wine is not the typical light spanish red, it is more like a nice french burgundy, full bodied and smooth.Great meal, great wine, and the usual great service.
Went to the beer dinner last night and it was simply amazing. This is my third meal there and Table 16 is hands down the best food in Greensboro. The pairings last night were delicious and innovative…thank you for such an awesome meal. Worth every cent!
The first time ate here we had the tasting, and it fabulous. Nice long social evening out centered around great food. The second time we went with a groupon. Everything fell short of the first time. You could tell the chef and staff were rushed by looking at and tasting the food. If you want a great experience go on a Tuesday and get the tasting. If you need to go Fri or Sat eat off the menu.
