Best Indian in Greensboro. The vegetarian thali is fantastic, they offer four different kinds of lassi, and their prices are very good for how much food you get. You get twice as much naan for half as much money than at Saffron, which is also a tasty place but a bit pricey for what you get.

Worst Worst Ever. I can say this is the worst restaurant I have ever been ever since I have been to restaurants. No good food. And especially buffet is worst. Easily make out that it is left out food. AND no proper response from the person over there. Extremely no respect towards the customers. I would never go to place like this and writing it as because I hated it so much.

GOOD – smaller selection seems to equal better quality and freshness than other buffets (and you’ll usually have the place to yourself)…this place is ‘hit or miss’ as some dishes and chutneys often fall flat.

First time eating Indian food, very good. Pleasant atmosphere, nice people, they helped with ordering the food and how to eat it ….

Fantastic. I have been to India several times and lived in NYC for 6yrs. I have been obsessed with Indian food for 15yrs. We moved to Winston Salem about 3yrs ago. We love it here, but the Indian Food situation leaves something to be desired. The main place in town here is bland and mediocre (and overpriced). I don’t mind paying $50 for a first class Indian meal in NYC, but not tasteless, poorly spiced food.Several weeks ago, we found Tandoor in Greensboro. It is tucked into the corner space of an unsightly strip mall. I spoke to the owner, who said that they took over the restaurant not too long ago. A chef from NYC is now doing the cooking. It shows. The meal we had last Thursday was the first great Indian meal we’ve had since moving to the Triad. These guys know what they are doing. The spices were perfect, the flavors spot-on and fresh – even the chai tea had my wife talking about it for days afterward. And the prices were so cheap that i had to leave an extra gratuity. For value-minded people, order the combo meal toward the back of the menu. 2 people for 25.99 or 29.99, and you get drinks, naan, rice, *three* separate dishes, dessert, raita, and samosas. It’s unbeatable. If you like Indian food, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. My stomach is grumbling just thinking about it, and it’s only 9am!

LOVE it…!!. This restaurant is where we have met our parents a few times with the rest of the family; usually on an occasion since we live in Cary, NC and parents live in VA; we consider this a great meeting place, in the middle :)Each time we have been, we ALL leave full of food and happy we came again! Last night was hubby’s birthday so when the seven of us met there we ordered a few appetizers (vegetable samosa, the chicken and the paneer pakoras) then an assortment of dishes to share; such as: Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat curry, Chicken Biryani, Tandoor Chicken, Tandoor Shrimp, Paneer Curry (my fav), plenty of rice for each entree, Raita, & Naan. All Tandoor dishes come with a mixed veggie curry! Careful not to over eat and yes take left overs with you. We love the couple that ‘mans’ the store in the evening…such a lovely hard working pair. I would give this place an AAA rating if there was one! 🙂 We will be back…! Wish they would consider opening a place in the Triangle/Raleigh NC area.

Misbehaving Staff. Food was good, but, staff was really misbehaving. They wanted us to finish our food before the restaurant closure time, as they had to go home. They were continuously standing on table, asking if we are going to eat and leave restaurant in half an hour. It felt insulting. When we tried to explain the waiter, that, he should be polite in communicating the same and show some courtesy towards customers, he said, he has lot of other stuffs to do. Customer service matters more for us, and we would not go again.
