Dont eat here during lunch!. Went in at about 3:00pm on a Friday. The service was ok, but the food was terrible. The baked potato was cold and the fries extremely overcooked. The rest of the food tasted as though it had been prepared beforehand and was sitting under a warmer for a while. I complained about the fries and potato and was offered another. I didnt want anything else from there to eat so i declined. The waitress asked the manager if he could discount our meal. He came to our table and adamantly refused to discount anything even though it was the waitress that suggested it. I will never eat here again. I suggest everyone go across the street to Libby Hill where the food is half the price but twice as good! Very disappointing.

The broiled jumbo shrimp is so good!
Average at best. Tides Inn Seafood is nothing to write home about. The batter on the fried seafood is too hard (and is a bit too greasy too). The interior is in desperate need of a renovation. I would rate the overall experience average at best.
Tides Inn IS OPEN!! I love the Cajun shrimp….it is I’m a weird spot but the food is pretty good.
Just Eat. Fast service, tremendous portions, competently prepared fried seafood in mass quantity. One of the Triad’s safer bets for casual seafood dining.
