Great Ethnic Choices. This place is certainly not much too look at (same is true for the entire strip center where it’s located), and the service, while efficient, lacks any hint of warmth or charm – but, now the food is more than just alright, and there is more here than just the Pho, though that is mighty good. The menu is expansive (there is even Dim Sum on the week-ends, Chinese BBQ everyday), and can be a little intimidating, but do you homework, ask for help, and enjoy. The restaurant is small, simply appointed, with 2 TVs constantly on – one on an English channel, one on a Vietnamese one – a little irritating. The tables are setup for serious work, with a large selection of sauces, and a container loaded with chopsticks – both very good signs. The Quail appetizer ($7.99) consists of 2 perfectly cooked, crispy, butterflied birds, accompanied by a plate with condiments – a salt, pepper, and lemon pepper mixture; fresh cut lime sections, and a nice hot chili sauce (Sriracha probably). Squeeze on the lime juice, sprinkle with the salt & pepper mixture, add as much chili sauces as seems prudent, and chew away – this is a great appetizer. The Fried Spring Rolls (2 for $3.50) are as good as any I’ve had in the area. They’re loaded with fresh vegetables, fried perfectly crisp, full of sharp, clean flavor. They are accompanied by a sweet dipping sauced packed with shredded carrot, which enhances the flavors. Then there is the Pho ($7.99). This is a version I really, really like, and as a matter of fact, it is the only Pho in this area where the inclusion of meat was a plus. We got it with Tendon & Brisket, and the meat was tender and flavorful, the best tasting I’ve encountered. The condiments for the Pho were the usual suspects, and plenty of them.I like this little place, and I loved all 3 dishes we tried, and I’m looking forward to having a go at other items, as well.

Fresh Amazingness. The service was on par and simplistic but the food is where the heart was. Full of flavors and fresh ingredients. I say my favorite Vietnamese Restaurants so far. Hands down.

Delicious Roast Pork, a bowl of greasy Pho. I stop by once in a while for my daily roast pork and it’s usually delicious. I would suggest to go in the morning or noon to get the best cuts and quality. If you go in the late evenings, the good cuts are gone and the skin is a bit soggy. I heard great things about the Pho and was excited to try it. I went there with a party of 10 friends. We all ordered Pho and when it came out, I could tell that it was nothing but beef grease. I enjoy cooking homemade Pho and the bowl of Pho that I received could not compare to it. I could hardly eat it due to the taste of the grease. Every bowl of Pho that we received was the same. I am disappointed and will never order the Pho from here ever again. It ruined my appetite.A side note, we had a waitress who had a very bad attitude. She was cute, slim, but you can tell that she was not having a great day. She would pout and roll her eyes, not professional at all.

I was a frequent customer here. Stop by here on sundays after my basketball games with the team. The service was always good until now. I went there with the team and everyone had recieved their food except me. Most of my teammated were done with their meal and i didnt recieve my lunch. So that was about 20 minutes and none of the servers didnt realize that i didnt recieved my meal until i say something. They were apologetic and i accepted it. But when i went to the cashier register one of the ladies were rude. She said i was fat and mean in vietnamese and i knew what she was saying. So i dont recommend this restuarant, if you want bad service and then get rude remarks go here. You will recieve it

The rare beef lemon salad with cilantro is one of the city’s best dishes. Dont miss the soft shell crab in season. And the quail appetizers and fresh rolls are sublime.

Authentic and Delicious. The traditional ‘dive’ Vietnamese restaurant, it’s the real deal. I’m a true fan. I usually can’t resist ordering the Pho or the Combo fried rice…to the point that it has to be one or the other, it’s just that good.I could eat here everyday, and almost do, I’m the white guy with the laptop. 🙂
