  Fuhgettaboutit!. I realize that liking or disliking a certain restaurant’s cuisine, service, and quality are all very subjective — like music, art, dance, etc. Unfortunately I’ve never had the opportunity to go to Italy and enjoy its people, heritage and cuisine — maybe one day. My wife and I moved to Greensboro three years ago from my native New Yawk City — the home of some of the world’s best Italian restaurants and pizzerias. After trying almost all of the Triad’s Italian restaurants, it is my opinion that Vito’s is the best. The thin flaky crust pizza is to die for – just the right blend of sauce, cheese and spice and herbs. The entries are cooked to perfection, the pasta is al dente. To top it off, for dessert Vito’s imports and serves fresh Cannoli. If ya’ll don’t know what Cannoli is, either try it at Vito’s or keep going to the Olive Garden (bland tomato sauce) or Carrabas (Tex-Mex tomato sauce that’s much too spicy). The restaurant is family friendly, casual and the staff are great. Keep up the great work. The prices are not inexpressive but how many Italian restaurants in NC serve veal and their own pasta and sauces. On the lighter side, my wife and I often share a lunch of a large cheese pie, an antipasta, soft drinks and two cannolis and coffee. The tab for that is about $30+, with tax and tip say $40. On mange bien!

  A Dining Experence. For truly GREAT Italian food you will find none better that at the family owned and operated Vito’s Italian Restaurant. The food is out of this world great and the folks there are warm and friendly.
