Utterly appalling. Maybe on busier nights the food is better because it’s turned over quicker. What we found was inexcusibly old, warmed-over and dried out. For what it’s worth to you: I’m no stranger to the vending machine in my office, so I don’t believe my standards are too high.Anyway, fare thee well if you are determined to try this joint.

Nice, Large Buffet. This large, well-decorated take out/buffet restaurant is in a little strip center, beside Mykonos Grill. It is especially large for a Chinese restaurant, and more upscale. I don’t know if it is associated with the little take out/delivery place which has been on New Garden Road for years, but it probably is.The buffet is large. There are usually several soup choices -the Hot & Sour is excellent, with plenty of tofu & nice heat. It includes two or three chicken wing varieties, including a typical Chinese version – which are excellent. There are usually 3 or 4 chicken choices, with the Black Pepper Chicken & the Kung Poa Chicken being particularly good – the Kung Pao has really nice heat, but does have some extraneous vegetables in it, like zucchini – yeap, zucchini. But the pieces are large enough to easily be fished out.The Pepper Steak is also very good, with plenty of beef, and good crisp onions & green pepper in a nice sauce. They will usually have several other beef dishes, like Beef with Broccoli. They have two varieties of Fried Rice, both nice, several noodle choices, some sweet & sour choices, & some seafood items. They also offer Egg Foo Young done in the rustic manner, more like a soft omelet, which I really likeThe egg rolls & spring rolls are simply not good – bland & soggy. They have some pieces of fried fish, that also were soggy. This is a typical Chinese American menu, with the Kung Pao the only item close to an authentic dish, but for what they offer, they do it well. There are many Chinese American dishes that I really crave, from time to time, and they do most of them well here, now we’ll have to see if the elusive consistency is there. The lunch buffet is $7.95, including drink, with the dinner price a $1 more. The service is great, though the buffet is rarely fully out there before 11:30.

Cheap ‘n’ Sorry. Dirty spoons, cold food and horrible service can best describe this restaurant. The buffet had cold food and all fried and served in a non descript brown sauce. The manager was sitting in a both picking food out of his mouth. The dessert was dried and looked it had been there for a number of days. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Good price for a lunch buffet–no complaints, but sometimes, as w/ many Chinese restaurants, ignorance is bliss.
