The burgers here are good, not the best I’ve had but good. They seem to have gotten smaller lately so I stopped going. Usually I go to what’s now called Hwy 55 or Sonic.
Not worth the price. The so called shrimp burger consisted of five pieces of fried shrimp on a hamburger bun with coleslaw. it cost nearly 6 dollars if u add fries and a drink it cost over 10 dollars. what a rip off

I order a cubbies burger an ask for cole slaw mustard ketchup am chili an they only gave me mustard an cole slaw I also ask for chili cheese fries an they gave me regular fries an they were cold an taste like shrimp so my visit at this cubbies wasn’t good an it was my first time tasting or try this restaurant
Get the same everytime.. I’m from the Philly area and the one thing about N.C. is that no one seems to know how to make a REAL philly-cheesesteak. While cubbies is no exception they DO have everywhere else ive been to in N.C beat. I guess you could say they have the next best thing to a real philly-cheesesteak. I order sweet tea, cheesesteak and cheesefries everytime I go. Love the cheese fries as well, has been years since I found a place that do cheesefries justice the way cubbies does. Haven’t had anything else there, and probably wont, so I cant tell you how the rest of their food tastes but I can tell you us Philly natives love Cubbies. Oh yea, and the only negative thing is that the bill is always slightly more then you’d expect from this kind of place and this kind of food. I guess slightly higher then a meal from a fast food joint. Expect to pay $7-9..
Consistent. Good food. Good service. Quick and pleasant. A bit pricey for what it is- burgers and fries.
Cost > Quality. It’s okay if you like hot greasy food but it’s when the bill comes that is the shock. A family of four bill can total well over $30 not including the tip. It’s hamburgers and fries for goodness sake. I expect more bang for that price.
