If you like your breakfast cold and dead like roadkill, this is the spot. Her omelet was warm at best, the kiddos first omelet experience will go unknown because he sucked it up and just ate the thing, my eggs Benedict was more like a cold egg mcmuffin topped with a window burnt poached egg. They tried to fix it and got the orders wrong, but the Pace Picante salsa was a nice touch. Go somewhere else if you want a good breakfast
Sunday Morning. I grabbed breakfast at Egg Yolk this morning. The food was good, the staff was great. I had the Ficklen Breakfast, 2 over light, hash browns, grits, bacon, toast and coffee. I opted for double hash browns instead of the grits. Service was prompt, coffee cup stayed full, staff was friendly and smiled a lot for early on Sunday morning. I plan to return.
