Over priced. I tried it because the owners support the local Little League. Unlike many other deli’s, the price, which was higher than the other delis in town, did not include anything with the sandwich (what’s a good deli without a kosher pickle spear). It was not exceptional, seemed a little sparing on the ingredients. As to the staff, as mentioned Ina couple of these reviews, I was not impressed. I wasn’t treated badly, but they were not friendly either, just cold business-like.

I probably had the same lady joy smiley had, she gave no greeting and looked annoyed to be taking my order. On top of that, the place has a hospital smell. Won’t be back.
It was awful. I went in to use the restroom, and then after realized I had left my wallet in the car, so I head for the door to get money to purchase a sandwich. A lady hustled from behind the counter, rudely asked me not to return because I had not purchased anything before going to the restroom .. Her rudeness was off-putting and uncalled for. My husband had frequented the restaurant before but now he will not be back
Quality, not quantity. The quality of food there is incredible. the Boars Head meat is clutch. i recommend almost any of the hot sandwiches. also, the chicken salad is home made and delicious. they also have really good soups, salads, smoothies, home made desserts, and sides. drinks wise, they have some of the best sweet tea in greenville. along with normal sweet and unsweet, they also brew a batch of splenda sweet tea (very popular).If I had to recommend a sandwich to the typical:female:1) chicken panini2) soup/salad (or soup and 1/2 sandwich) combo3) rosemary chicken pitamale:1) BDSG (stands for best damn sandwich in greenville)2) chicken chipotle pita3) LEO (has damn near every meat and cheese they offer on it. also, its a cold sandwich, but can request it to be hot…AMAZING)
A saving grace from fast-food-laden Greenville.. The Met was one of my favorite places to grab lunch while I was in college. 9 times out of 10 I would get the buffalo chicken wrap. It’s a million times better than what any wing place would serve you. It’s clear they have a lot of Pirate pride and display it by serving some of the best sandwiches and wraps in town.
