Best All around mexican restaurant in town. I have been to this place multiple, multiple times and the service is always very courteous and timely. Most of the time I go my food is brought out fresh within 5-10 minutes. They make excellent margaritas, and the San Jose burrito is my favorite dish.
We went to plaza azteca for lunch and my mushroom quesadilla was very good. However, my friend’s fish tacos were terrible. They were not in a flour tortilla like the menu said, the slaw was chewy and not dressed and the fish was overcooked. Also, the service was slow…we waited around 20 minutes for service.
This place was decent but it just jumped up a couple notches because they started making homemade tortillas there at the restaurant. This makes all the difference in Mexican food. Very few places do this and it’s a shame.
Lost their alcohol license. Food is still good.
It’s waaaay too dark in there!! I asked them to open the blinds & within 5 mins they were closed again.
Went with friends last night. First of all the tabelside guac was just awesome! Then the Watermelon Mojito’s came and I would have been happy with just thoes two items for dinner! I had the Pecsado Azteca and it was supper yummy a bit to much sauce but very good!
The reviews did not lie. I used my mobil app to find this place and was not disappointed at all. I went with my husband and three picky teenagers. Everyone loved it. The food was delcious, service was great and I will be going again.
