Better choices in Greenville.. Rucker johns is nice inside and the waitress was nice. However, the food was not that great. We split a buffalo chicken pizza which was down right terrible. I also had a chicken dish which was just ok. The crossants were good. It is little more than Applebee’s quality food at a premium price. There are much better returants in Greenville.
Yummy!. I ate and Rucker John’s and it was awesome. There was so much to choose from on the menu. I like to eat healthier and lighter when I go out. They had so many options for me. A salad with all fresh fruits and cottage cheese!! The person I was with got the Island Chicken with a chunky pineapple salsa, they got their sweet potatoes and veggies. Our waitress was very friendly and knowlegable. She seemed to know anything I had question about. The actual dining room looks great, makes me feel like I have a nice place to go but dont have to worry about going home to change after being at the pool for a few hours with the kids! I found my spot!
Disappointed. My family went to Rucker Johns in Greenville on a Saturday night. The wait wasn’t bad just 15 minutes and the wait staff and hostess were very pleasant. The food on the other hand was extremely disappointing. I had the ribeye and my husband the Blackjack steak medium rare which came out more like medium well but I can’t say it was the cooks fault. The steak had so much fat that it probably lit the flame really high. I do blame the manager that buys the poor quality of meat and I can without a doubt and with certainty say that I have had better quality of meat at Golden Corral and obviously a cheaper bill. I can’t speak for other meats or entrees but I would definately not recommend getting steaks at Rucker Johns.
We should have known something when it was practically empty on a Sunday. Rib sauce tasted like ketchup!!! Second time visit won’t be going back a third time 🙁
Lose the cajun food. Not a good experience- calamari was apparantly fried in cold oil. Everything was greasy. Wait staff was polite and the restaraunt is nice but one more place in NC that insists on calling their food cajun when it is not!!!!!!!!!!!
The food is so so but the service is terrible! The wait staff doesn’t seem to know whats going on with the customers and they’re rude!
