Slow slow service. We went for brunch because we had heard the food was good. We’ll never know. An hour after ordering we still had not been served. We couldn’t even even get coffee and drink refills. Thumbs down.
Vegan friendly. We went for Sunday brunch and while there were no vegan options on the brunch memo, the server said the chef would be delighted to make a vegan special for me. And he did! Super Portobello mushroom over spinach and salsa, with a little spice. Thanks for the special treatment.
Pricey, but good food and great service. Excellent cor a special occasion. Femalez really like the menu and cuisine.
Disappointed. We went today for the first time. Had a very good server that had to deal with a very bad kitchen…We decided to try the crab appetizer and it was ok, maybe a little too much butter. For main course we ordered the burger. It took them 1 hr to make it. After all that wait we received a well-done burger that we didn’t order. Also, it seems as if though my french fries were put in a blender, very small peaces of fries (i just hate to have to pick my fries up with a fork because they were so small) I have never seen such inconsistent chopping skills, maybe at burger king… The burger was a disaster but our good server noticed our discontent and gave us a free soufle that was very good. Overall, they seem not to know how to do a good burger at all. I may try in a distant future other plates. So far, I don’t like this place… To be continued.
Food is ok but too expensive for what you get. Overrated though greenville’s fine dining options are extremely limited. Can’t hold a candle to Kinston’s Chef and The Farmer.
Great atmosphere and high quality food. Most impprtantly to me it is the only place I can get high quality raw oysters around Greenville (not steamed or fried). The price is a bit higher than the dirt cheap places around Greenville, but well worth it.
Great Food and Atmosphere. I totally enjoyed my experience at Starlight. The atmosphere was amazing. The restored building was a beautiful and romantic setting for dinner. The food was great. My steak was perfect. We enjoyed great drinks and had great fun. Downtown Greenville Wow!
