This Little Piggy… After a wonderful lunch at Lime Leaf we felt like we deserved some dessert. Id seen pictures of this joint online and it looked like the funk-o-tron and it sounded like they whip up some tasty shakes so what were we waiting for? I parked the McStylesmobile and took in the panorama; it was pretty thick with vintage clutter and junk. We dug on it as we made our way to the ice cream station inside. Once we were in we began to scan the list of flavors and figure how to outdo one another. In the end (where else) I decided to go with a chocolate peanut butter shake. When I told the girl this she asked if I wanted the chocolate peanut butter ice cream OR chocolate ice cream mixed with real peanut butter? Well, you know the answer to that question, right? I wanted to pat her on her little behind for the suggestion but I could feel the heat coming off my wifes antenna so I just tossed a buck in the tip jar. Once her radiator stopped overheating she placed her order as well, a mocha chip concoction. We wandered around the joint, taking in all the americana. Its a pretty funky spot. Then the little bunny called us over to pick up our wares. We strolled outside and scooped away at our cups. This was the real McCoy, not the cheap junk they sling at Cook Out or Mickey D’s. I vacuumed up about 3 quarters of mine before I regained control. The wife was using the straw like an intelligent person but I didnt follow suit. Anyhow, it was the whip. Treat yourself right, play the piggy at Piggy’s. I guarantee youll hate yourself in the morning but it tastes so good.. drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com

Good Lunch. Bring CASH! They don’t do plastic. The food is as the place looks. Different but very tasty. The BBQ is fair, I have had better and worse. The burgers are great and that Texas Steak Sandwich is a killer. Tator Tots extra crispy.Service is good you just have to make yourself at home and fill your own tea glass. So what! They have a tip jar at the counter give how you feel. They always smile and treat you like family.
B.B.Q. & Ice Cream!. The place is decorated like an antique shop, stuff covers every part of the place. The owner told me he has a shop downtown for the stuff he doesn’t decorate with. You can’t miss it when you drive by because of the advertising statues they have collected that decorate the parking lot. Decent hamburgers and b.b.q, the ice cream is really good. Open on sunday just for ice cream 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Decent BBQ old time setting, a little lackluster in the service area.
