Don’t pass up this unpretentious Hendersonville landmark! The menu is varied and the food is great. Upon the recommendation of the guy in front of us in line, I had a Slaw Dog (hot dog with chili, mustard, onions and slaw) and a Greek salad. I don’t know how they do it, but this is the only place I’ve ever had a hot dog with chili that wasn’t too much of a soggy mess to eat in public. They somehow make these multi-topping dogs into neat, tidy packages where the bread doesn’t get wet and the flavors are excellent. The Greek salad was very good and as attractive as a salad can be in a styrofoam container. Thumbs up on the milkshakes as well.Next time I may try a gyro or a burger if I am able to pass up the delicious dogs.If you want upscale, drive on by. If you want good, fresh food at very reasonable prices, head to Hot Dog World!
