Good lunch value. I don’t have a lot of money, so I like to get a good value when i eat out. For lunch, the Lime Leaf provides an entree, soup and an egg roll for $7.50 and the daily special lunch menu item is only $6.50. The food is fresh and tasty. My favorite, chicken with basil, is the lunch special on Fridays, so that is when I usually eat there. I don’t think there is a better eating value in downtown Hendersonville than the lunch special at Lime Leaf. Dinner prices at Lime Leaf are in line with the rest of the Main Street area, which to me is a little high, not to mention you don’t get the egg roll and soup with your dinner entree. To summarize, the food is delicious and the price at lunch is right.

I wouldn’t know about the food here thanks to their ridiculous false advertisement. We found them on restaurant.com on a drive home from the asheville area and they listed their hours as closing at 10. Google says the same thing. We detoured the half hour to go here and arrived at 9:27pm. Imagine our surprise to find them closed and the hours listed on their door posted as closing at 9pm. I looked up their direct website and they had it posted there as 9:30pm. That’s the most ridiculous situation we’ve ever encountered with a restaurant, never have I seen three different closing times at various locations. I clearly should’ve called them but shouldn’t I have been able to rely on the site THEY sell coupons on to their establishment?? Or even Google? It’s absolutely ridiculous and I’ll never venture there again.

Diner Review. All I can say is,you must give Limeleaf a try if you haven’t already. It is a delightful dining experience from start to finish. We have been there twice in the past month and are ready to go again tomorrow. We had never tried Thai and now are avid fans. I love something different and exciting. Limeleaf hits the mark.We have been fortunate enough to have had both MacKenzie and Sarah as our wait staff. They are a delight to know and serve you. So very personable and attentive to every detail. We highly recommend Limeleaf as a stop to put on your bucket list.

Went in for the first time to use a groupon I received for my birthday– excellent service by Tori. She knew all the menu items and was very accommodating to special orders for our picky party. She was also extremely friendly and professional. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom unexpectedly fancy! There was quite a midday crowd which I always take as a good sign! I had spring rolls that were able to be made vegetarian and at Tori’s recommendation I ordered the Green Curry. It was phenomenal. I’ll be sure to make the trip back because I haven’t found Thai this good anywhere in Asheville.

Nice atmosphere, okay Thai food. I often judge restaurants by their fried calamari — is it crisp or greasy, lightly or heavily breaded, delicately flavorful or flavorless? The fried calamari appetizer ($6.95) at Lime Leaf Thai Fusion was one of the worst examples ever. It didn’t look like any calamari I’ve ever had. It was in big, thick chewy chunks. It looked like breaded and fried mozzarella sticks. Maybe it was from an elderly giant squid? It was heavily breaded, somewhat greasy and almost tasteless. It was, however, nicely presented, reasonably priced and the sauce with it helped. If I had judged Lime Leaf Thai on the calamari, I would have left after the appetizer. Fortunately, the rest of the meal was considerably better. The pad Thai with chicken ($11.95) was pretty good, though I missed the usual bean sprouts, the larb with pork ($8.95) was okay, though not at all spicy, and the green curry with chicken ($11.95) was excellent with a touch of heat. All the dishes were attractively presented. My Jack Daniels ($6.50) cocktail was a skimpy pour. However, the Singha beer ($3.50) was deliciously cold and served in chilled glass.Service was friendly and prompt. The decor is tasteful and the atmosphere inviting.Dinner for two (one appetizer, one salad, two main dishes, one beer and one cocktail) came to $53 before my usual generous tip. I’d say the price was reasonable, although some of the specials, especially the seafood, were over $20, which seems pretty pricey for a small-town Thai spot.I live in Asheville and doubt I would make the 30-minute drive to eat dinner here again, though I might try lunch here if I were in the Hendersonville area.
