Years of great treats. We have been coming here for years and not one bad experience nor one bad treat. The Apple pie is off the charts.
Excellent customer service! The girls behind the counter always have a smile on their face and pleasant to go in and have the best cinnamon rolls…. And blueberry and cream cookies!!! Yum! The black and white cookies are out of this world! Always have a great experience whenever I visit downtown Main Street and want a treat!
Wedding cakes. My family has had McFarlans Bakery make three wedding cakes. All three have been awesome. Best ever!!!
Whole grain bread is Awesome!. We went to McFarlan Bake Shop last weekend, and I bought the whole grain bread and froze it when we got home. Tonight, I made beef stew and took the bread out of the freezer this morning, and heated it in the oven with aluminum foil for 15 min. or so. It was absolutely fantastic! I wish I had the recipe. I would definately buy this bread again when we are in Hendersonville. 🙂
For the ignorant people. McFarlans is by far the BEST bakery I’ve ever been to, their old fashion oatmeal cookies are to die for, as for the rest of their sweet treats!
Yum. We stopped in when we went to the 2012 Apple Festival. We got a apple fritter, almond strudel, old fashion cinnamon roll (The best) and a cinnamon filled bear claw. OMG they where awesome. We live in Greenville, sc and will be making a special trip there for the pastries they where so good.
