Love this place. Always good and always friendly staff.
Old Fashioned Goodness. My family has been going to McFarlan’s for years. This is one of the few bakery’s that still makes everything in house from scratch. If you’re looking for a hipster hangout where the crowd is hiding behind mac computers and headphones, this isn’t the place. McFarlan’s is a blast from the past, and THANK GOODNESS for that. It’s so rare to find a place like McFarlans in any city. If you had to pick just one think from the huge display of sweets, I would go straight for the old fashioned chocolate chewies. These things are to die for. It’s like a cookie and brownie all at once. Their fresh breads and pies are also fantastic. You really can’t go wrong here. Next time your sweet tooth is calling, let McFarlan’s answer.
