The best Italian food I have ever had. My family, friends and myself tried various dishes and one was better than other. I have eaten in many Italian restaurants in the past neither one can beat Mona Lisa and Mr. Franko’s cooking.
I heard so much about the crepe lasagna that I had to try it. I was very disappointed. Not like any lasagna I have ever had.
Nice. Had a very enjoyable dinner here a little while back. Veal Saltimbocca was good and pasta with the dish was done just right. Dcor feels a little dated but the staff was pleasant. Food overall tasted fresh and nice bread.
Awesome. Stopped by for my second visit, and my food was AMAZING again!!! The whole staff at Mona Lisa’s is very friendly and extremely helpful. Felt like I was coming home for dinner. I will be a regular at this establishment!!!

Excellent experience. The place is small and cozy. The people are friendly and professional. The food is fantastic!Having recently moved to the area from NJ, we are always checking out the restaurants, and comparing the offerings to what we were used to up north. Although we have not yet tried all of them, we have found this little place to be remarkable. The food has been fantastic on both occasions we visited. So far, Mona Lisa’s pizza was the best I have found so far in Hendersonville. Last time out, I had the lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious!My wife had the Zuppa, which is a mixture of seafood in a rich Marinara sauce. She loved it, though she felt some of the ingredients were a bit salty.The angel hair pasta was the best I have ever had … and I used to work in Italian restaurants years (OK, decades) ago. This fine pasta was so delicate, a bit al dente, not at all clumped.We hope that, in the future, Mona Lisa might offer a Chicken Cacciatore, as this is my wife’s favorite Italian specialty. So far, we have not found anyplace in Asheville, Arden, Fletcher or H’ville that offers it. We are curious as to why this dish seems to be so difficult to find.All in all, though, with SO MANY restaurants around, the fact that we repeatedly go to Mona Lisa is a testament to the high quality of their food, and the pleasant experience eating there. We highly recommend it!
