No complaints – no issues – I’ve eaten here exactly three times in the last three years when dropping my daughter Kate for summer camp at Camp Ton-a-Wandah in Hendersonville. Great Mexican food for a restaurant located in western North Carolina. Great food – polite and friendly staff. Plenty of parking and clean restrooms. Conveniently located near shopping and hotels, it appears that most of the customers are tourists. The reason I know this, is I’ve run into people from South Florida – particularly the Homestead area – on the last two visits to Tequilas Bar & Grill. No problems – no issues. Certainly beats other options available in the area. I will return.William E. Lewis Jr.Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Definitely will come back (10 out 10). Went yesterday for my mother’s birthday, the food and service was great! They have a person who also comes to your table and prepares a fresh avocado dip for you, that was delicious as well. The place is beautiful and the food is the closest I’ve tasted to authentic Mexican food. The experience was great my whole family and I enjoyed it. One thing I forgot to mention they have someone playing guitar every Friday night, sometimes mariachi. I believe around 7(at least that’s what time the guy started that day); it added a nice touch to the overall experience.

It could have been better.. Stopped here last night for a bite. The place was packed and had the smells of Mexican food cooking, it did smell so good. I ordered the sizzling Texas Fajitas thinking they would be on a super-hot iron pan, they came out on a rather large SS thing that was above my head that I had to reach up and over to the food. I am thinking a tad uncomfortable and bit strange. Maybe its me??? There is chicken, steak, 2 shrimp lot of red and green peppers and onions with a bowl of frijoles bubbling away. I removed the beans and started to finish the saut of the peppers and onions. Different from what I have ever seen. All in all it was pretty good. The chips and dips served were good. The salsa bar was very disappointing all the buckets were empty except for the green stuff which no one liked not even me. I checked back 3 times and all buckets still empty. Oh well Gringos love their Salsas what more can I say. Beans and rice at best mediocre. I can safely say 5 of 10. I will go back for another try it may have been bad night for a new restaurant.
Nicely furnished, has a bar in a separate area with TV. Fast courteous service. Good lunch combos for reasonable price. Great for lunch and would be fun to meet friends in the bar after work
