Smells Like Love. We can here on our way to Asheville based solely on the photo of the pretzel on the site. The pretzel was AMAZING and we’ll worth the detour! As a bonus I think the ovens might ventilate toward the restrooms and I have never enjoyed a better smelling bathroom. Joy!
Best Ever Bakery. Awesome gem. If I can give this bakery 10-star I would. Pastries are some of the best – chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, brownies, eclairs (out of this world). Artisan breads can’t be beat. Raisin almond brioche w/golden & black raisins. I can eat the brioche for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. No kidding. We drove 3 hrs to get here & spent $50+ to bring back as much as possible.

DELICIOUS!!!. We like to support local businesses. My wife and I will be moving here soon and we asked the folks at Jongo Java where a good local Bakery was. They talked about a couple good ones and pointed us to closest one. We enjoyed our pizza and took home some fresh baked loaves of bread! Thank you Matt!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE. To say that their products are delicious doesn’t even cover it. Mouthwatering, definately. I bought a Brezel (like a Pennxylvania Dutch hot pretzel you’d get in Philly) and a piece of bread pudding with whiskey sauce. My plan was to eat the Brezel before grocery shopping at Aldi’s so I didn’t impulse shop. I took one bite after I got into my car & realized I couldn’t drive away without buying another one. Went back in and got a second Brezel & ate both. I tried the Bread Pudding on the way home and it was truly one of the top 3 desserts I’ve ever tried. I’ve tried bread at the other so-called great bakeries and wondered what the fuss is. When you go to Underground Baking Company you’ll finally know what you’ve been missing.
Scone. I really like these scones – they seem to be different each day. Not too sweet, nice crust. Lemon blueberry, fresh strawberry. Yummy!Flavors very clean and real.I like that the person who serves me handles my selections with care (and a paper tissue), and someone else handles the cash.
