Wonderful!. We had a delightful meal at Antonia’s on a gorgeous Friday evening. We ate outdoors, and while the traffic was busy, it just felt right. Every course was excellent. My wife and I shared a antipasto mixto with super chewy Italian bread. The mains were each specials and excellent (my wife pesce e gambretti, me a cantelloni di mare), and our desserts were also great. Nice, well selected wine list at fair prices. In 30 years in the Triangle, by far the best regular Italian food we’ve had. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed very much. Attractive. We’re there for Sunday brunch. Had a antipasto platter that was great. Companion had pork in mole sauce that he thought was spectacular. Will return.

Not worth the money. I have been to Antonia’s 3 times. Twice for lunch and once for dinner. The place is very attractive and nicely located. There is a lot of noise so don’t expect to talk and be heard. The food and the service has a lot to be desired. The food is consistently tasteless and lacks seasoning. For dinner I ordered Pasta Puttanesca which was the worst pasta I have ever been served that was commercially prepared. There was a huge pile of pasta and almost no sauce. It had chunks of tuna that were overcooked and dried out. The lack of sauce made the whole dish have very little taste, and it was overall not moist or appetizing. i couldn’t finish it.The service was abysmal. The waiter came and gave us the meus and then didn’t return until we had ordered through another waiter, both the meal and then wine, when he came to check on things. Never saw him after that.Overall, it is overrated and not very good, and really not worth the rather high price they charge for pasta.

Wonderful. We eat at Antonia’s frequently and think the food is delicious!! We are so happy to have such a nice restaurant with reasonable prices in Hillsborough.

Saturday lunch. Was not satisfied with speed of service; food was not as flavorful as expected and bone/gristle in moroccan chicken salad sandwich.

Today was my second time at Antonia’s. I had decided to give the restaurant a second chance. As a fourteen year old I was treated with contempt by the owner. The owner tried to seat our family directly in front of the kitchen. One of my passions is to be a food critic, and so therefore I have had meals at 5-star restaurants in several different countries. The food at Antonia’s was mediocore, and for the price is not good quality. As other families walked in they were seated at the bar even though tables were open. I don’t plan on going back. I would instead recommed Panciuto’s. Panciuto’s is a very high-end restaurant that maintains a friendly atmosphere.
