Completely terrible! I’ve had their food years ago prior to them appearing in competitions on TV and I was a fan of the food quality. A stop into their Hope Mills location today with out of town guests had me embarrassed. A small Styrofoam plate with one scoop of beans, a handful of fries, and a very tiny and cold portion of pulled pork and brisket came to $12.99!!! A 1/2 lb sandwich rang up for $7.99, came on a discount bulk bought bun with a scoop of meat. Incredibly disappointed and will not be coming back. You pay for the name and its totally not worth it. Save your money and appetite for Fullers or Grandsons if in the area.
This is real deal bar-b-que. If you like bbq you’ll love Fastbacks. Nothing more need be said!
Came by for first time today; I got a rib/pork plate; came with 3 ribs and less 1/4 pound pork with 2 sides and water for $16…pretty expensive! Served on a small plate. I got both sauces (sweet and vinegar) and I couldn’t tell the difference in them. If ur looking for an eastern nc vinegar sauce this isn’t it. With that being said the quality of the ribs and pork were on target and some of the best smoke around. With larger portions or a cheaper price and a quality vinegar sauce this would be the best BBQ I’ve had in Fayetteville
Just meh. I’ve heard great things about this BBQ joint so I went in to try it. Portions were small for the price and the bbq was just ok.
Best Smoked BBQ Around. Just in the past year there have been a few new smoked BBQ places open in town but they don’t hold a candle to Fat Back’s. Thier ribs, chicken and brisket are the Best around. Corey and his staff aim to please and they have passion for what they do. The passion for the BBQ sets Fat Back’s far ahead of the rest, you can taste the love in the food. Everything I have had there has been great. Keep up the Great work…….I think your on to something!!
Pulled pork is great. The sides are also very good had hood best to them but balanced very well with the pineapples. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I will definitely become a regular here.
Best BBQ I’ve had in Fayetteville area. Ribs are a must try–meaty and fall off the bone. All the sides are great too. Bring your appetite.
