The cakes are good, but the customers service is so bad that I will never go there again. I have been in the hospitality business for 30 years and if my employees treated people like the cake maker (man) does at party house I would have fired them on the spot.
I must say i just ordered a birthday cake and the lady i talked to was very friendly and helpful, so high score for that, i’ll pick the cake up friday so i haven’t tasted it yet, but have had cupcakes from there and they are to DIE for! mmmmm good! so we shall see friday how the cake turns out.
Customer Service from staff is lacking. Visited this bakery several times. Bakery items are better than most, however, after a simple request to cut the cake in slices, staff said they could not do it. No special wrapping was requested, just cut the cake in slices. Customer Service should be emphasized to staff. If this is a management policy, management needs to wise up. The attitude by staff turns me off and will keep me from recommending to others.
My daughter’s birthday cake. I found this bakery through a friend, what a blessing! We needed a last minute birthday cake for my daughter’s 17th birthday. They not only made an amazing cake, but made it just how she wanted. It was gorgeous and tasty!
I arrived in Charlotte from up North 3 years ago.. I have NEVER had cake this good EVER! The Party House is the Best kept secret around. I don’t think the folks in the city of Charlotte knows this little gem exist up in Kannapolis!I would put The Party House up against ANY bakery in Charlotte, NC and The Party House would win EVERY time!
Good Treats not so good service.. The treats and cakes here are to die for but the service , not so much.I have never had friendly service here, always feel like I am causing someone frustration just by walking in , no smiles, no thank you. I made a call today to check a price and the woman ended the call by hanging the phone up abruptly after I thanked her and told her to have a nice day…not even as much as a good-bye. They definitely need some customer service training.
