One of the most sad and disappointing restaurants in the Triad. A great location and amazing menu items with the worst service EVER! After 3 visits we finally gave up. Often times they don’t have what’s on the menu either. Very disappointed.
We love it!. Dinner on a week night, nothing special…right? Absolutely wrong! The chef brings something special to each item ordered and continually delights with his creative touch. We love this charming Bistro and have yet to be disappointed even on a quiet Thursday evening.
Tonight we celebrated a birthday with 9 guests in the party. The service was horrible. The tea was spoiled. 3 entrees arrived 10 minutes after the others were served. 1 entree was delivered to the table after everyone had finished their meal. Beverages were not refilled promptly and it took 2 hours for dinner. The restaurant removed the one extremely late entree from the ticket and brought free desert that was not requested or needed. Being a birthday celebration we already had desert arrangements. The total of the bill was $343 after the one entree was removed. When speaking with the manager the server got involved and got argumentative. I asked for him to leave the conversation and she declined my request. Her excuse was we were a party of 9 and that is why the food was delayed. I then suggested they not accept large parties if they can’t handle it. Then she said they were a tapas restaurant and we ordered entrees. She said that is why the food came out at different times and late. I then asked if entrees were on the menu. The manager said yes. I suggested she not sale something she can’t provide. Other restaurants can serve entrees and handle parties of 9. She then stated because it was because the food is fresh and different foods are ready at different times. That is why I pointed out they are a restaurant. It’s there job to organize the preparation of the meals to come out together. If she can’t perform the job then don’t offer the service. OCB. Other Careers Becon. Top it off they called the police. The police arrived while we were getting into our limo and realized there was no issue. The gentleman that worked at the restaurant stated he wanted us gone. We were leaving and had not caused a scene. The police officer looked at him in complete shock as the employee walked back inside. This was a total waste of his time. To wrap this up, DON’T EAT HERE. And whatever you do don’t complain about poor service, they call the cops.
