AWESOME EATS!!!!. Ever since my mother passed away, I have looked for chicken and dumplings that would get remotely close to those she made. Fitz on Main is pretty darn close. Do yourself a favor. Go on Chicken and Dumpling day. They are out of sight! It is a great gathering place that will bring back memories of your childhood. A simple menu with great food and awesome service from good downhome folks. Get there early because the chicken and dumplings don’t last long.
Yummo for Luncho!!!. Wanted to try something new for a change and I’m constantly driving by FITZ on Main. OMG, SO GOOOOOD!!! Can’t believe I’ve never stopped before. I absolutely recommend dining here or take out. My coworker and I went there today for lunch and I was extremely happy with the service and the FOOD….. It’s a MUST. Might even be lunch tomorrow…. 🙂
Came in 15 minutes before closing and was still served happily! Great staff. Friendly. Good food. Very reasonable. I had chicken strips and fries with drink and refill for about $6. Will definitely be back. Closes at 1:30. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Cash only.
The reviews don’t lie! Excellent, simple food at great prices with fantastic service combine for a refreshing dining experience. The owner and wait staff are very welcoming and personable and certainly cater to your needs. The atmosphere is small but kept very clean- a pleasant departure from a lot of diners. This little gem shines in all the right places and I will certainly return -highly recommended!
AWESOME!!!!!. I think fitz on main is a awesome place.David fitzpatrick is a retired principal from KES(Kernersville Elementary School).He loves kids.Jeff is the cook every other day and Mrs.Mcintosh is a great waitress!
Fitz is Awesome!. Fitz is a great place to go for breakfast to read the paper or stop in for lunch at the counter. David is a super nice guy and his staff are always friendly. I go for the omelet with everything for breakfast or do the special of the day for lunch and always get some fitz chips. They usually have a pie or cake of the day too. I could literally eat here everyday and be happy. Great for folks on a budget, but cash only so be prepared. Its a small joint, only 9 feet wide so sit at the counter and talk to the cook while you sip your coffee and he fixes you up with some good eats.
