We went to Giada’s for Father’s Day lunch and the there was no wait at 12:00 – however, things started filling up soon after. The interior decor is very nice, and the service was excellent. The salads were very fresh, and the rolls were nice and soft. The weakest part of the experience was the main course – I ordered chicken marsala, and the sauce had an excellent flavor, but was very thin/watery. I also would have preferred the chicken not to have been so blackened, and the angel hair pasta was fairly thick (more like a thin spaghetti than a true angel hair). Again, the entree was perfectly fine, it just didn’t meet my expectations of how chicken marsala should be made. We didn’t have any desert, but saw some on other tables, and it all looked delicious. Overall, I’d give Giada’s 4 stars. Flaws aside, it’s certainly one of the nicer restaurants in Kernersville.

Great place.. Excellent real Italian food, great service ( thanks lolita), very reasonable prices.

Decent food for prices but terrible service. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I had bad service at Giada’s. When I heard an italian restaurant was opening in Kernersville I was so excited. I have gone on numerous occasions, always coming up with an excuse but it never gets any better. This time, I had called an order in to go after their lunch rush and stood there watching it sit in the window for 8 minutes while the managers and wait staff socialized. No excuse for this.

I will give this establishment 3 of 5 stars and a pass… It’s relatively new. In twelve months if the bugs aren’t ironed out, it’s a NO LIKE. Based loosely off a very successful High Point location, Giadas has wonderful decor, location and ambiance. The wine list is excellent for a town with so few upscale dining choices. The menu is well developed with traditional Italian cuisines, and it is completely hit or miss on the taste. The salads and breads and pasta are excellent, the pizza is horrible. The sphaghetti and meatballs are top notch, and the chicken Marsala is blah blah blah. So as you can tell, it’s totally hit or miss. The wait staff is good, with some being even excellent. In NYC this restaurant would have closed its doors in 60 days, in Kernersville NC it has a chance to survive if it irons out its rough edges. Give it a try, if nothing else, you will enjoy the wine and fresh breads.

Great place to eat. Loved the one in High Point so much that I was excited to hear Kernersville was getting one, but with a bit of a scaled down menu. We go here a lot. I have loved everything on the menu that I’ve tried so far except the meat sauce. Not so good by my taste, but my granddaughter loves it. My favorite is create your own pasta and love love their house salad dressing!!! Just don’t put me in the back room. The room is too empty and when crowded it is so loud!. They need to section the room off better or have something to absorbe the sound. No booths back there either and coupled with the concrete floor makes for a noisey dinner. We try to go early to get a spot in the front room.

Nice, upscale Italian. My husband and I enjoy going to Giada’s when we’re in the mood for upscale dining. We’ve not had anything that we didn’t like. You can always visit their #Facebook page to see the nightly specials. The white sangria is one of the best.

Went to this new restaurant over the weekend and my family and I loved it! We loved the atmosphere with the stone oven and the staff was very friendly. Our waiter was also friendly and attentive. We started with the Italian Nachos (the petite size is huge FYI) that were fantastic, I got the Gnocchi & Sausage which was very good and my fianc got the Farfalle Verdure which she also loved. The kids meals come with an Italian ice which my daughter loved. We are very happy to have a higher caliber restaurant in Kernersville to go to without having to drive to Winston or Greensboro!
