This a hard one to write. I have had a great experience and a very questionable one here. I had a smothered chicken with mashed potatoes and I loved it on my good experience. The second time I had the really thick pork chops and they weren’t thoroughly cooked and I had a mild case of food poisoning. I like the location, the decor, the music and the prices are very fair. I think I will return and just avoid the pork chops or tell the cook to make sure they are cooked but not burned.

Disappointed. The food was mediocre at best and you quickly learn the Southern Style Burger is not the best thing to order at a restaurant of it’s well, style. They apparently do sides really well, though. I enjoyed my cheese grits.My fiancee was extremely disappointed with their French Dip and the side of Macaroni and Cheese. Let’s be honest, Macaroni and Cheese is something you shouldn’t fail at making.The service was decent, and the interior was aesthetically pleasing on the eyes. But in all honesty, it’s over priced and even a town as small as Kernersville has better options.The beer selection was very limited, but there are a few local drafts.I might go back to give them a second chance, but it won’t be for awhile.
Very disappointed. My family and went recently. I ordered the scallop dish which was so bad I sent it back. It was a few scallops placed over a plate full of pinto-like beans. No taste. For$18. Really!!!! Tried the crab cake entree.These were fried and were sitting in a mix of stuff saturated in mayonnaise. Terrible.. My son ordered the pizza which was partly burned and not very good.My daughter ordered the shrimp and grits which was better than the other dishes but still only so so. For these prices go somewhere else!!!!!!
The atmosphere. Is nice I was raised in la and have travels a lot with my job and if you call this great food something. Is wrong with you don’t get me wrong its not bad they are clean and pleasant bit the food is not exploding with flavor they have great Ginger & soy chicken wings they should focussed on flavor like that
This is one of my favorite restaurants! I love everything I’ve ever had there.They also have all star bartenders.
