Good home cooking with affordable prices. Wait staff friendly!
Breakfast. It was the best breakfast we have had since moving to North Carolina 5 years ago. The hash browns, eggs and bacon were cooked exactly the way we like them. Looking forward to dining there again.
Great sandwiches. Pimento cheese BLT was fantastic, as were onion rings. Typical diner atmosphere with friendly staff.
Nathan was an awesome waiter!. My wife and I went there last evening, and we had the pleasure of having a nice young man wait on us. Nathan was friendly, attentive, and did a good job. He’s new here, but a true asset to your restaurant! Food was very good also. We’ll be back!!
Enjoyable Dinner. I enjoyed my dinner. The waitress was very attentive, and helpful. The salad was fresh and flavorful. The crab cakes were delivered quickly. They were well made and served with a delicious sauce. The rice was moist and lightly seasoned. I could tell that the other customers were glad to be there.
Confused?. I have eaten here a few times under the past ownership and now the transition to the 66 diner. I don’t really have a complaint as to the food but the confusion maybe of the kitchen staff. I ordered a salad. It was chock full of goodness such as tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, grilled chicken, cheese, bell peppers and onions. It was great however when I ordered it again the very next evening to take to work, half of the initial ingredients were missing, i had no eggs, no cheese, no mushrooms and no peppers but ordered the exact same menu item and was charged the exact same amount.. the salad overall was good but it either comes with everything or not. So I’m a fan of the place but not the confusion
My wife and I had not eaten here yet so we thought to give it a try since we live in k’ville. We went in and I gave them my name for seating. 2 other parties came after us 1 with 3 and the other with 2. The party of 3 was seated before us so I went to look at the name list and she said it won’t be long. I could not believe she seated the other party also before us. We did not get to try the food we left upset at the service. We won’t go back again.
