Great hidden gem in Kernersville love to eat here . Great sea food and atmosphere. Not exactly kid friendly but that’s good as well since we leave the kid home and come here . Never had any complaints but seating is limited and the wait is worth it.
I Tried Smitty’s Grille out recently and was pleasantly surprised. Driving by, it always seemed to be more of a bar than a restaurant – this turned out to be true. They only have about 3 tables in the whole place (the rest is one big bar), so be prepared to arrive early or wait if you don’t want to eat at the bar. However, the food that I had was tasty and priced appropriately. I had the fantail shrimp, and I appreciated that the breading was not too greasy. The shrimp tasted fresh as well. As others have said, I definitely got a Myrtle Beach vibe from this restaurant. Overall, probably one of the better restaurants in Kernersville based on my experience, but I dock them points for their lack of tables.
