I tried to give this place a try a few times but after today i will never go back. I wanted a saucy italian meatball parm sub. What i got was more like prison food. The meatballs must have been made from cardboard….they coud have put some sort if seasoning in,them they were horrible…..they werent even round….yuck it dusgust me to even think about it. I waa going to get my miney back but i just left because i was so disgusted…..never….never again. I am not a picky eater either….GROSS!
Called last night and placed and order, had an emergency with my husband while the time to go get the food so I went to the er and today I got a call from a guy screaming because I didn’t go get the food or called! Really the last thing on my mind in the er with my husband sick is the pizza order!!
Could use more and spicier sauce. I really wanted to like this place. Real, good NY pizza is hard to find in the South, so I thought about it before deciding to say I didn’t like it.The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. I had 2 slices of meat lover’s and a soda for $6.99. 2 slices of pepperoni and a drink would have been $5.99. Service was ok (there was only 1 other patron in the place). And I’m not offended by the fact that they have the pizzas already cooked, and warm up the slices as needed–that’s the way the slice joints in NY do it.The problem is the food. The crust is not bad–not really good, but not bad either. The toppings could have been tastier, but they too were passable. The really weak point was the sauce. The pie could have used twice the sauce, and it begged for seasoning. This food could have been sooooo much better with just a little tweaking.
Man if you around this place in knight dale come get the the best pizza or salad it’s the best I come from ga to eat there the service is great the people are friendly and will treat like a family the prices are good for what you get and it’s clean and good quality
A slice of NY PIzza in Knightdale. I have been to this pizza place and it is the closest thing to ny style your going to get. The staff was extremely friendly , the place was really clean and again the food was awesome!!!!!!
Really Good Pizza. So I have become addicted to this place’s NY White pizza. The location in Knightdale I have to admit is much better than other locations that I have visited in the area, such as the one on Hillsborough St. Facilities are are clean and the staff are friendly. The manager or owner (not sure which) was even given my free slices before if you come in late close to closing…..can’t beat that. Garlic knots were excellent. Haven’t tried any of the featured Italian dishes, its so hard to not get the pizza slices here, but maybe next trip I will try and report back. Overall, you can’t beat the authentic NY pizza at this place!
